Video Editing
Hololive’s Cultural Victory
My newest ‘long-form’ video project, this video showcases all of my skills of pure video editing, as well as combining 3D into video editing. You may notice my avatar (affectionately dubbed CRTychi) cropping up plenty within this video – this was a 3D model quickly rigged and posed in different ways, and animated through my voice with Veadotube (veado.tube), then consequently edited into different stock images to give a more immersive feel to the video.
The video itself is a video commentary on the subject matter of Virtual Youtubers (V-Tubers). My vision with this video is to introduce people to the concept and also tell my own story associated with them – and so consequently, while showcasing my editing skills, I also showcase how I use those skills as a medium for storytelling.
For the 3D avatar, I used Blender, used Photoshop for the thumbnail and Premiere Pro to edit the video.
PROJECT MORTNA
This was a scrapped project initially planned for a Minecraft server. I edited, directed, voice acted and made graphics for this trailer. It’s meant to be reminiscent of a Netflix series/trailer, and I also wanted to showcase my cinematography skills within the game.
The title graphic was made in Photoshop, while I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the trailer. It took me approximately 2-3 days to finish.
#hopelesscore
This project was more of my longer and harder ‘short video’ projects in terms of technical detail. It showcases putting graphics to word timing, as well as editing videos in a different, more olden style.
This was made completely in Adobe Premiere Pro, and took me approximately 3 days.
